Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Ketju Research collects and why. Ketju Research is operated by 1732 Studios LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as Ketju Research, which is the data controller for the information described here.
Ketju runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts. There is not one on the site. We collect what is needed to sign you in and bill you, and nothing gathered for its own sake.
01What we collect
Your email address. It is your account. Sign-in is a six-digit code sent to it; there is no password to store.
Session records. When you sign in we store a session token with its expiry, and the IP address and browser user-agent of the sign-in, to keep you signed in and to let us detect account misuse.
Subscription status. From Stripe we receive and store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your billing email, and your status (trialing, active, past due, cancelled). That record is what unlocks the terminal.
First-touch attribution. If you arrive from a campaign link carrying UTM parameters, your browser remembers the first set it saw and sends it with your checkout, so we can tell which writing brings subscribers. It is a short text label such as riadefi/control_atlas/asset-usdc. It is not an identifier, and it is not shared.
Server logs. Our host records ordinary request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
02What we do not collect
- No analytics or product-telemetry service, first-party or third-party.
- No advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking, and no data brokers.
- No card numbers. Payment details go directly to Stripe; they never touch our servers.
- No information about your clients. Ketju has no client data because it never asks for any.
- No wallet addresses, portfolio holdings, or positions.
- No special-category data, and nothing knowingly from anyone under 18.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
03What is stored in your browser
The complete list:
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary. |
| ketju_attr | localStorage | First-touch campaign label, sent once at checkout. |
That is all of it. Your light or dark theme choice is not even stored; it lasts as long as the page is open. We use no cookie banner because we set no cookies that would require consent.
04Why we are allowed to process it
For readers in the UK, EU, and other regions with similar law, our lawful bases are: performance of our contract with you, for account, access, and billing data; legitimate interests, for security logging and for understanding which of our writing brings subscribers, balanced against your rights; and legal obligation, for tax and accounting records.
05Who else processes it
We use a small number of vendors, each for one job. We do not use any other subprocessor.
| Vendor | Job | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and billing portal | Your payment details, billing email, and the campaign label |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, application, database | Everything we store, plus request logs |
| Resend | Sign-in code emails | Your email address and the code |
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims. If the business is ever sold or reorganised, account records may transfer as part of it; this policy would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.
06Where it is processed
We are based in the United States and our vendors process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal information is transferred out of the UK or EEA, our vendors rely on recognised safeguards, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
07How long we keep it
- Sign-in codes: ten minutes, then they expire and are removed.
- Sessions: until they expire or you sign out.
- Account and subscription records: for as long as your account exists, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal-claim purposes.
- Server logs: on our host’s ordinary retention schedule.
08Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Because the account is the email address, we verify a request by sending a code to that address. Deleting your account ends your subscription. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your data protection authority, and we would rather you came to us first.
09Security
Everything is served over TLS. There are no passwords to steal, because sign-in is a short-lived emailed code. Card details are handled by Stripe, so a breach of our systems could not expose them. Access to production data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim ours is.
10Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the effective date and notify subscribers by email before it takes effect. Superseded versions are dated and retained, the same way we handle our research.
