Cube
Rejected venues wait the longest for re-review; a rejection has to earn another look before the scheduled date.
Cube is a Solana decentralized exchange with weighted pools of up to ten tokens and virtual balances that let providers concentrate liquidity in price ranges. A deposit is a basket the pool rebalances as any member token moves, so the provider accumulates whichever tokens fall, and concentrating the range narrows the band in which that does not happen. That is impermanent loss, and we reject it for advised money across the category. DefiLlama measured $83,749 on Solana on 2026-08-16. The file reopens only if Cube ships a separately accounted product without pool inventory exposure.

The research file
Mechanism applicability
Cube is a weighted constant-product AMM whose pools hold two to ten tokens. LPs receive BPT representing the pool basket; even a single-token deposit is internally split and swapped to target weights. Virtual balances concentrate quoted depth but actual token balances determine the LP claim.
Control and assurance applicability
Pool creators configure weights, swap fees, protocol-fee share and token composition within contract limits. Cube publishes deterministic pricing and account layouts, while a proprietary backend can split routed swaps. Its current roadmap lists the first independent audit as future work, so mainnet operation should not be described as externally audited.
Exit applicability
LP value is the pro-rata marked value of actual pool balances. A depositor exits from the inventory produced by prior trades and remains exposed to token quality, changing relative prices, pool depth, program execution and any conversion needed after withdrawal. Virtual depth is not additional redeemable inventory.
Why the dossier still applies
DefiLlama measured $83,749 on Solana on 2026-08-16. Materiality does not drive the decision: the live product is direct weighted-pool exposure. Reopen only for a separately accounted non-LP product, then require independent security review, immutable product boundaries, loss mechanics and proposed-size stressed-exit evidence.

Inherited controls
The verdict above grades the protocol layer. Every position also inherits the asset it holds and the chain it settles on. The least safe layer sets the position’s grade, and the position table names which one that is.
