xU3O8 (uranium.io)

What the client owns
A beneficial co-ownership share in a pool of uranium oxide concentrate (U3O8) that Archax Ltd holds on trust in a storage account at Cameco’s Canadian conversion facility. The Cameco statement shows 38,464.626 kgU for 31 July 2026 against 1,600,000 tokens, about one troy ounce of U3O8 per token. Commodity receipt: A receipt for an allocated physical asset held by a custodian.
Who may hold it
US retail investors. First purchase minimum not stated. State coverage not confirmed by the issuer. uranium.io says the only access limits are AML and sanctions screening; it screens each wallet through Provenance Ltd on first use and publishes no list of excluded countries or US states. Card purchases go through Transak, which runs its own KYC. There is no minimum purchase. Only a holder regulated by a national nuclear regulator, with an account at a licensed facility, can take uranium out.
Who can freeze or claw back
Etherlink: can freeze a holder, pause transfers, claw back, gate who may hold, mint, change the code. A single key can freeze a holder and pause transfers and claw back tokens. A single key can change the code with no delay.
How a holder redeems
Redeem in kind. A holder with an account at a regulated uranium conversion or storage facility may ask for a book-entry transfer of the U3O8 behind its tokens to that account. uranium.io says physical delivery to anyone else is not feasible. The white paper makes redemption conditional on access to a compliant facility and the ability to transport the material. uranium.io publishes no minimum, fee, or timetable. Settles in U3O8 (book-entry transfer between licensed facility accounts).

Who controls it

Ketju read these powers from the deployed contracts and their verified source code: the token and every contract it checks on a transfer. A power listed here is something the issuer can do; it does not mean the issuer has used it.

Who holds the keys

Ketju read every current holder of each power from the chain on 2026-09-24. A single key is one private key, and whoever holds it acts alone. A multisig needs the stated number of signers. A timelock delays every action, so holders can see it before it takes effect.

Daily checks

Every day Ketju reads each control function in the table above and the contracts the token checks on a transfer. Ketju compares the token’s on-chain supply with yesterday’s, and its market quote with yesterday’s quote. Ketju also reads every document quoted above and reviews the file again if a quoted passage disappears from its document. Ketju counts a new, removed, or changed key as a change only when the chain’s own log shows the grant, revocation, or signer change since yesterday. If the log does not show it, Ketju updates the key list in this file and does nothing more. A change opens a review before any client action. Subscribers get an email that names each of their clients who hold the token, with the household result.
