ShapeSwap V3 is a live Uniswap-v3-derived concentrated-liquidity exchange on Shape. The 2026-08-16 survey measured about $0.09M in WETH, bridged USDC and SHAPE pool inventory. A position supplies two-sided trading inventory inside chosen price ranges and can become one-sided as price leaves the range, so the version-1 AMM-LP dossier controls regardless of fee tier, range selection or protocol size.

Mechanism applicability
The live ShapeSwap interface presents swap and liquidity functions on Shape and identifies the product as a Uniswap V3 fork. An LP selects a pair, fee tier and price range; swaps consume inventory through that range and fees accrue only while liquidity is active. Price movement changes token composition and can leave the position entirely in one asset.
Control and exit applicability
The LP controls its position receipt, range and removal transaction, while factory, pool, position-manager and router contracts control execution and accounting. Removing liquidity returns the assets currently represented by the position, not the original mix. Exit also depends on Shape RPC and settlement, pool depth, token and bridge quality, slippage and interface or direct-contract availability.
Current observation and perimeter
The DefiLlama API read on 2026-08-16 classified ShapeSwap V3 as a DEX and reported approximately $0.09M entirely on Shape. The survey token breakdown comprised roughly $31.8K WETH, $37.4K bridged USDC and $25.1K SHAPE. This record covers the V3 concentrated-liquidity adapter, not the companion V2 deployment.
Why the class rule decides
ShapeSwap V3 positions are client-owned market-making inventory whose composition changes against traders; concentration narrows the interval over which both assets remain. Fee income and capital efficiency do not eliminate adverse conversion. Reopen only for a separately measured ShapeSwap product without pooled trading inventory.
